About WHI International

As an Australian-based multi-disciplined design practice, WHI INTERNATIONAL has been a leader in the architectural field in the Asia-pacific region, with its associated offices and partners in Adelaide, Melbourne, Bangkok, Seattle, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. WHI International, together with P49 DEESIGN, our Thailand-based partner has extended our business across the Asian-pacific region, the Middle East and Europe.

Services

WHI INTERNATIONAL aims to provide innovative design services based on market needs. We have inventive designers with different cultural backgrounds, from Australia, Europe, the U.S., Thailand, China and other Asian regions. This diversified cultural background and our career experiences make for a professional design practice, which has successfully provided designs for numerous projects.

Scope

Our design covers a broad scope from urban design and master planning large scale urban areas, to tourist zones and residential areas. We also specialise in architectural, interior, and landscape designs for high quality hotels, resorts, commercial, retail, villas, residential buildings and public buildings.

Recognition

We have prepared designs for many influential projects, and been awarded many honours. WHI International has won:

• Third Prize in the 2005 China’s top 10 Planning & Architectural Design Practice
• 2005 China’s Most Cooperative Architectural Design Firm
• In China’s Top 10 Overseas Architectural Design Practice 2007

Experience

Over the last two decades much of our work has been the planning and design of luxury hotels, resorts and Spa’s, deluxe villas and high-rise apartments, and other public buildings, which have all helped to make WHI INTERNATIONAL the professional design practice it is today. WHI International places a strong emphasis on utilising advanced technology to improve our clients and users lives.

We've been involved in the Nanguo Olympic Garden, which won First Prize for real estate projects organized by China’s Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development; Dongfang Hotel, one of China’s Top 100 hotels; Renxin Venus, winner of Mountain & Waterfront Villa Prize and listed as one of China’s top 100 villa projects; and Hill & River Hotel and Villas, Hangzhou, the top prize winner at China’s 4th Villa Festival in 2007.

Our designers have also been invited to some other significant Chinese projects such as Hotel & Golf Club of Boao Forum for Asia, Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, Guangzhou Tianlu Lake Recreation Zone Planning.
